Foundations of Posture:
  • Begin in Urdhva Dhanurasana.
  • Walk your feet in towards your buttocks.
  • On an exhale, slowly bend your elbows and lower down on to them.
  • Keep drawing your shoulder blades on to your back to allow your heart to extend forward as you reach your tailbone in the opposite direction.
  • Inner thighs are working to keep your legs hips distance together.
  • To release: Tuck your head and slowly move your elbows out to the side and lower one vertebrae down at a time.
