Phalakasana: Set up for pose

Plakasana
Plank Pose

Foundations of Posture:
  • Arms are in one line - shoulder and wrist are stacked on top of each other.
  • Crown of the head moves forwards as the heels press a way.
  • Heart melts as shoulder blades hug in close to the spine.  The kidney area stays vibrant and full of life; inflating like a balloon that was lifting upwards.
  • Tailbone tuck slightly and roots towards the heels as the upper thigh area lifts for the sky.
