Title: Yoga Poems
Author: Leza Lowitz

Review:
Leza Lowits brings poetry to postures with the heart of yoga.  Each poem is dedicated to celebrating and describing in new light, a yoga posture.  Lowitz extracts the beauty of yoga postures into creative words.  By reflecting on her words, readers are often more challenged in their own awareness and goes beyond linear thought.

This book is beneficial to yoga instructors to bring into the classroom.  It allows teachers to emphasize and focus on a particular posture and bring out the internal landscape of the posture.  For the yogi, it is wonderful to read a poem about a posture that challenges you and mentally prepares you for it.
